Trust’s Got Talent

Yesterday, months of work organising the WsM Education Trust’s first ever “Trust’s Got Talent” came together in the finals at The Playhouse in Weston and we were amazed at just how good the standard of the finalists was.

We were wowed by singers, dancers, rappers, gymnastics and more. The children from the five trust schools, Bournville, Oldmixon, Milton Park, Walliscote and Windwhistle were a credit to their schools and although it was a long day for all, with rehearsals starting at 10am and the children all remained upbeat and excited about the afternoons performances and a little healthy competition.

We had some great help throughout the day including the staff from the schools who stayed all day to chaperone, buy milk, make coffee etc including Shane German (Amazing Compere), Adam Buhryn (Chief Cameraman and Photographer), Roz Willis, Michelle Michael, Alan and Jackie Peak (Awesome judging panel), Dave (our Tech Manager at The Playhouse), Pete (our Sound & Lighting Tech); the list goes on and on.

We hope that if you were lucky enough to be in the audience (who were very loud and enthusiastic – just what we needed) that you enjoyed all of the acts performances.

Thank you once again to all of the performers and people who helped us along the way in order to create this amazing show.

Thank you Waitrose!

We would like to thank our friends at Waitrose, Weston-super-Mare for their kind contribution of food items received this week for holiday activities on the Bournville estate.

As a registered charity, we rely on grant funding and contributions from local businesses to keep our clubs and activities going and are grateful for all of the support we receive.
