Here at XTND, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in improving children's futures. We run a variety of clubs and activities, providing a safe and engaging place for children to come with their families.
We also provide after-school provisions that offer fun activities and provide a safe place for children to go when school is closed, where they can feel safe, relaxed and valued. We are constantly creating new exciting events, please keep updated via our Facebook

We registered as a charity in 2011 and are a collaborative partnership working predominantly with children and families from local primary schools and the community of south ward, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset.

We adopted the name XTND (Pronounced Extend) after much consultation with the children. The charity was established to carry on with the essential work which had been put in place from the Government funded Full Service Extended Schools programme.
Research has highlighted the benefits of the services that XTND offers and that they can make a “real difference” for families, providing stability and helping to improve their life chances. This can also have a positive impact on the wider community and be a constructive alternative for children out of school. Research also suggests taking part in extra-curricular activities boosts results.
