Play is important for children.
Play and physical activity can play a vital role supporting children’s well-being and development. Whether it is going down to the park with friends or family, playing in a sports team or attending a holiday club – being active delivers important benefits to children and young people.
We play a lot at holiday club!
Play is also a way of developing social and emotional skills: by playing with others children learn to share, take turns, negotiate and make friends.
We offer a wide range of activities such as sports, outdoor and indoor games, arts, crafts and drama.
Our Holiday Club is open to children aged 4 – 11 years old. Priority goes to the children who attend Bournvile and Windwhistle schools. If spaces remain available they may be offered to other children from local schools.
Booking forms are available from Bournville and Windwhistle Schools.
The XTND Holiday Club is run by our Play Team and is open from 9am to 3pm.
£8 per day for children receiving free school meals.
£10 per day for all other children.
Packed lunch, snacks and drinks are required.
Please label all clothing and items being brought to the club.
Suitable clothing for indoor and outdoor activities is required: sun hats & sun cream during warmer days, or warm clothing & a waterproof when the weather is cooler or more variable.
We suggest packing spare clothes that you don’t mind getting messy due to outdoor play and art & craft activities.
Sessions that are not attended may still charged.
Please inform the office and club of any medical or contact details that have changed since you last attended.
Please don’t forget that we are not able to take bookings and enquiries for holiday (and after school) club via Facebook.
